Police investigating fatal pedestrian collision in Baltimore City

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian collision that took place Thursday night.

According to police, just after 9 p.m., 75-year-old Leslie Brown of the 3700 block of N. Charles Street was struck by a vehicle while crossing the street. She was taken to the hospital where she later died.

Following an investigation, officials learned Brown was crossing eastbound on Roland Road when a motorist, who was operating a 2015 Subaru Crosstrek, was traveling southbound in the first lane. The vehicle Struck Mrs. Brown causing life threatening injuries.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with police. Investigators have not yet determined who was at fault.
