BALTIMORE, Md. — Baltimore Police are investigating a triple shooting Monday evening in West Baltimore that left one woman dead and two men injured.
According to police, officers were called to the 800 block of Appleton Street around 9:18 p.m. for a report of a Shotspotter alert in the area.
Officers at the scene found three shooting victims, an 18-year-old woman, a 25-year-old man, and a 20-year-old man. All three were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Just talked to a woman who said she heard at least 12 shots.

Police say the three victims were sent to a local hospital for treatment.
Early Tuesday morning, police said 18-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Medical Center. The woman was identified as Taylor Davis.
A few hours before the shooting Monday, Baltimore City Council members voted unanimously to confirm Michael Harrison as the new Baltimore Police Commissioner. City officials believe that Harrison's experience will allow him to change the department positively for the Baltimore City community.
