Police investigating two overnight shootings

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating two Monday night shootings.

In South Baltimore, officers were called to the scene of a shooting in the 1500 block of Plum Street. There, they found a man who was shot in the thigh.

Detectives learned that the victim was shot in the 1600 block of Olmstead Street.

At 9:52 p.m., officers were walking in a North Baltimore neighborhood when they heard gunfire. They saw a man with a gun running from the scene. The department said the officers chased the suspect and lost him in the 500 block of Tunbridge Road.

After searching the area, police found a man with a shooting injury to the abdomen in the 5400 block of York Road. He was taken to an area hospital and his condition is currently unknown.
