BALTIMORE — A man was shot and killed early Monday morning in South Baltimore, according to police.
At a little before 1 a.m., Southeast District officers were called to the 1300 block of South Ponca Street to investigate a reported shooting. After searching the area, officers found an unidentified male suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Hospital and was pronounced dead by medical personnel.
