BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police say a 53-year-old woman was shot in the ankle Friday morning.
A little after 10:05 a.m., Western District patrol officers were called to the 1900 block of McKean Avenue for a ShotSpotter alert. Once on location, the officers located the 53-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the ankle.
The woman was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
