Police searching for 43-year-old man in connection to shooting in South Baltimore

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are searching for a 43-year-old man in connection to a shooting that took place just before 5 p.m. on Friday.

Baltimore Police were dispatched to the area of 600 South Fremont Avenue for a reported shooting and found a 47-year-old woman suffering from gunshot wounds. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Through the course of their investigation, detectives determined that 43-year-old Davon Roberts was the shooting suspect. Roberts is currently being sought by police for attempted murder and related weapons charges.
