BALTIMORE — Maryland State Police are searching for a car that was involved in a highway shooting on Wednesday night.
Police say they are looking for a dark colored mid-sized SUV or sedan with tinted windows and no hubcaps. They say the vehicle was traveling on northbound I-83 near Northern Parkway when they drove from behind and started shooting at a victim's gray 2019 Volvo XC60. The victim told police the driver of the wanted vehicle also drove up next to their car and shot again.
The reported shooting continued along the outer loop of I-695 around Greenspring Avenue. Police say the victim exited at Reisterstown Road on I-695 when the suspect continued driving on the outerloop.
It is unknown if the suspect and victim know each other.
