Ten people were injured and two were killed in nine separate shooting incidents in Baltimore from Friday evening through Sunday.
Sunday:
The latest occurred just before 7:30 p.m. Sunday evening in the 2800 block of Boarman Avenue in Northwest Baltimore. Two male victims ages 52 and 34 were found shot at the location. The latter died at an area hospital after being shot in the head.
Around 3:45 a.m., officers in the Southern District were called to the 4100 block of Grace Court for shots fired. They found a man with a gunshot wound to his mouth. He was rushed to an area hospital in stable condition.
Southern District officers were already investigating shots fired from less than three hours prior. This time in the 1000 block of Bethune Rd. They found a 27-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to her mouth; she was rushed to a hospital.
Police later connected two walk-in shooting victims to the same shooting. A 19-year-old female shot in the ankle and a 17-year-old male shot in the arm and chest arrived at an area hospital.
Saturday:
Just before 10:30 p.m. Saturday, officers in north Baltimore were called to the 3300 block of Westerwald Ave for a car accident. Upon arrival, they found a car that had run off the road into an embankment. The driver was found to be shot in the upper body. He was rushed to an area hospital and is listed in stable condition. After investigating, police believe the man was shot in the 700 block of 34th St and then fled before crashing.
About a half hour earlier, units responded to the 1200 block of N. Carey St where they found a 28-year-old man shot in the leg and chest. He was rushed to an area hospital and is expected to survive his injuries.
A 39-year-old was taken to the hospital just before 6 p.m. on Saturday after police say he had a graze gunshot wound to his head. Western District patrol officers found him in the 100 block of North Bruce Street.
Three hours earlier, police were investigating another shooting in the 3300 block of Germania. When they got to the scene they found a man with gunshot wounds to the head and torso. Medics pronounced him dead on the scene.
Friday night:
On Friday, only a couple of minutes before midnight. Southwest District officers responded to the hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim. They found a 21-year-old with a gunshot wound to the leg and later found out he had been shot by an unidentified person in the 3400 block o Edmondson Ave. The man was taken to the hospital by a stranger at the scene.
The first shooting of the weekend was at 10:00 p.m. in the 5100 block of York Road. Officers were only a couple blocks away when they heard shots fired. When they got to the scene, they found a 30-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the leg. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
