A student is arrested after taking a handgun to school.
The incident reportedly happened on Wednesday at the Success Academy in Baltimore.
A spokeswoman for Baltimore City Public Schools said the 16-year-old student was caught with the weapon as he attempted to walk through a school metal detector. It was later determined the gun was unloaded.
Police have charged the student as an adult.
