Suspect in deadly East Baltimore shooting arrested

BALTIMORE — A man accused of shooting and killing a 46-year-old Baltimore man has been arrested.

On December 12, 2018, police responded to the 2500 block of E. Biddle Street where they found Terrell Singleton shot multiple times. He was taken to Johns Hopkins where he later died.

Through an investigation, homicide detectives were able to collect evidence and identify 45-year-old Gregory Fields as a main suspect. Fields was arrested on Thursday as he exited his home in the unit block of N. Belnord Avenue.

While being arrested, police also found an illegal handgun and narcotics on him.

Fields was transported to Central Booking where he has been charged with 1st Degree Murder, Handgun and CDS Violations.
