BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police and Metro Crime Stoppers are offering a $2,000 reward for information that helps lead to the arrest of two suspects who robbed a 72-year-old man in a Burger King restroom at Mondawmin Mall.

The man was attacked in the bathroom at about 1:56 p.m. on Jan. 3, police said. The suspect seen in the camouflage jacket above followed the man into the bathroom and brandished a knife when he had the man cornered. The elderly man was then shoved to the ground by his assailant, who then stole “a significant amount of money from the victim’s coat,” police said.

After taking the money, the suspect walked back into the mall. Police said the man pictured in the brown jacket acted as the robber’s lookout.

The 72-year-old man “sustained significant injuries due to his age,” police said.

Anyone who has information about the crime should contact Metro Crime Stoppers online or at at 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-886-7562587).
