Three men murdered in overnight, early morning shootings in Baltimore

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating the killing of three men in Baltimore City on Wednesday night and early Thursday morning.

The first shooting happened on Wednesday evening around 11:27 p.m. when officers were called to investigate the reported shooting on the 200 block of Douglas Court. At the scene, officers found an unresponsive 24-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his body.

The man was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital where he later died.

A few hours later, officers were dispatched to a home on the 600 block of Arsan Avenue for a shooting. When police arrived at the home, they were directed to a bedroom where they found 23-year-old Terrance Featherstone unresponsive with gunshot wounds.

Through an investigation of the shooting, detectives learned that Featherstone was shot outside of his home by an unknown gunman. He then ran into his home to escape the attack.

Featherstone was taken to Shock Trauma and was pronounced dead shortly after.

The most recent homicide was reported around 2:17 a.m. when officers were called to investigate a shooting on the 1300 block of Glenwood Avenue. Officers found an unknown man lying on the curb with gunshot wounds to his left side.

Medics were called to the scene and pronounced the man dead.
