Three overnight shootings, two dead, according to Baltimore Police

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are now investigating three overnight shootings. One, in which, involved two people who were both killed.

The first incident, which was the homicide, happened on Sunday, at 9:45pm, when officers were called to the 600 block of Mt Holly Street for a report of a shooting. They arrived to find two shooting victims. Both victims were transported to an area hospital, where they died from their injuries.

Detectives from the Homicide Unit are investigating this incident, so anyone with information is asked to call 410-396-2100.

The second shooting happened a little over an hour later, at around 11:10 p.m.

Officers were called to the 100 block of S. Monroe Street for a report of a ShotSpotter alert. When officers arrived, they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds to his body.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. However, due to the severity of his injuries, detectives from the Homicide Unit were called to the scene.

The last shooting happened on Monday at a little after midnight.

Officers were called to the 2400 block of Greenmount Avenue for a report of gunshots being heard in the area. They found a 43-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his hip at the scene.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Detectives from the Eastern District are investigating this incident, so anyone with information is asked to call 410-396-2433.
