Three shot, one killed in Monday morning Baltimore shootings

Monday started the week off to a violent start after three people were shot before 9 a.m.

The first shooting of the day was reported not even 30 minutes after midnight. Officers were called to the 800 block of W. Saratoga Street for a reported shooting. There they found a 26-year-old man who had been shot in the side. He was taken to the hospital for treatment. 

About a mile away and only an hour later, police were called to the 1800 block of W. Saratoga Street for a reported shooting. A man, later identified as Michael Geathers, was shot and later died from his injuries at a hospital. 

Then at 9 a.m., a 23- year-old woman in the hospital told police she was in the 1200 block of E. Lanvale Street when she was shot by an unknown person in the hand.
