Three walk-in shooting victims connected to two shootings

Police connected three walk-in shooting victims to two shootings Monday night.

Eastern District police responded to a shooting in the Broadway East neighborhood at 5:54 p.m. When they arrived at the scene in the 1600 block of N. Port Street, officers found evidence of the shooting but no victims or witnesses.

Police were then alerted of a walk-in shooting victim at an area hospital. Officers determined a 50-year-old man and a 51-year-old man sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the shooting. 

At about 6:51 p.m., officers in the Northeast District responded to a shooting seen in the 5900 block of Glenkirk Road. A shooting victim was not found at the scene. Officers later responded to an area hospital where they found a 29-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds.
