A 2016 murder case had gone cold, but a tip through Metro Crime Stoppers put a shooting suspect behind bars.
On December 31, 2016, 30-year-old Keith Patterson was shot following a fight at a bar in the 2200 block of East North Ave. He died a short time later at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Since that New Years Eve, police have been searching for his killer with no luck, until this week.
An anonymous tip to Metro Crime Stoppers led them to 30-year-old Jordan Moody from Essex.
On Monday Moody was arrested and taken to Central Booking where he is waiting for his bail review.
