Two 18 year olds shot near deadly shooting earlier Thursday

Roughly an hour after a man was murdered in East Baltimore’s Johnston Square neighborhood, two 18-year-old men were shot blocks away.

Police responded to a Shot Spotter alert in the 900 block of Eden Street, in the city’s Oldtown neighborhood, at about 11:19 a.m. There they found an 18-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to the arm and leg, police said.

Officers located another 18-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg in the 1300 block of E. Eager Street, on the border of the Johnston Square and Oldtown neighborhoods.

Both victims were taken to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
