Two dead in possible early morning murder-suicide

BALTIMORE — Two people are dead in what detectives believe to be a possible murder-suicide.

On Tuesday, at around 8:40 a.m., Northeast patrol officers arrived to the 1600 block of East 30th Street for a report of a shooting. Once on location, officers found a 34-year-old woman lying unconscious on the sidewalk, suffering from gunshot wounds.

Officers also located a 54-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head inside a home in the 1600 block of East 30th Street.

Medics arrived and pronounced both victims dead.

The 34-year-old woman has been identified as Siera Benson.
