UPDATE: Baltimore Police have identified the 30-year-old man fatally shot on N. Collington Ave as Gilbert Bates Jr. of the same address. The victim in the Preston St shooting has been identified by police as Demicko Baldwin of the 800 block of Arnold Court.
Two men are dead in separate shootings that took place a half hour apart in Baltimore. At 9 p.m., officers with the Eastern District responded to the 700 block of N. Collington Ave where they found a 30-year-old man with several gunshot wounds. He was rushed to an area hospital but died from his injuries.
At 9:30p.m., Eastern District officers were called to the intersection of Caroline and Preston St for another shooting; they found a 38-year-old man with several gunshot wounds. He was also rushed to a nearby hospital but died from his injuries.
