Two suspects were arrested Tuesday morning after an armed carjacking and crash in downtown Baltimore.

Baltimore police say the carjacking happened around 7 a.m. in the 1600 block of Bolton Street.

A short time later, the two men crashed the stolen car into parked cars downtown.

Police arrested Jawon Johnson, 18, and Larry Owens, 16.  Owens has been charged as an adult, police said.

Both have been charged with armed robbery, assault, and various traffic violations.  Johnson and Owens are currently in Central Booking awaiting their bail reviews, police said.

No one was injured and police said a toy gun was found at the scene.
