Two men, one woman shot in separate shootings just minutes apart

Baltimore Police are investigating city shootings that left two men and a woman injured in the city on Friday.

The first shooting happened around 1:38 p.m. when officers patrolling the area heard gunshots coming from East 20th Street. 

Officials say officers then searched the area and found a woman in the 1000 block of East 20th Street suffering from a gunshot wound to her arm.

They say the woman was later transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Just moments later in West Baltimore, officers were dispatched to the intersection of West Baltimore and Carey Street for a reported shooting.

Police say they found a man with a gunshot wound in the 1200 block of West Baltimore Street. Then officers were informed that a walk-in shooting victim sought treatment for a gunshot wound to the leg at a nearby hospital.

Detectives were able to find out that both of the men were shot on West Baltimore Street.
