BALTIMORE — Two people were injured in a midday shooting near the juncture of three Northern Baltimore neighborhoods Monday.
Police responded to the 4800 block of York Road, near where the city’s Winston Govans, Richnor Springs, and Radnor-Winston neighborhoods abut, for a reported shooting. At the scene, officers found a 20-year-old man who had been shot in the leg. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
A short time later, as detectives were still at the scene, police learned of an 18-year-old male shooting victim who arrived at an area hospital. The man was suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to this leg.
