Two police officers and two civilians suffered minor injuries during an accident in Ashburton Thursday afternoon, Baltimore Police confirmed.
BPD spokeswoman Chakia Fennoy confirmed the four injured people were taken to area hospitals for treatment. She said the officers were in the area doing normal police work when they spotted a wanted car and initiated a pursuit. The officers' vehicle then struck a second vehicle in the 3300 block of Liberty Heights Road.
The officers were not able to stop the wanted vehicle, police said.
