BALTIMORE — Two men were shot and one of them is in serious condition after an apparent robbery early Tuesday morning, according to Baltimore Police.
Police say they got a shot spotter alert around 12:45 a.m. in the 1500 block of W. Baltimore Street; moments later they were called to the scene.
Upon arrival, police say they found a 27-year-old man who had been shot in the back. That man was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Later that morning, Central District officers got a call about another shooting victim to had walked into a hospital in the area. The 45-year-old shooting victim had a graze wound to the head and told officers he had also been shot in the 1500 block of W. Baltimore Street.
Citywide shooting detectives are investigating this incident and have learned robbery was a motive. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at (410) 396-2221.
