BALTIMORE — A shooting has been ruled a homicide 22 years after the incident occurred, according to Baltimore Police.

On August 27, 1997, at around 1:35 a.m., Keith Cooper, who was 24-years-old at the time, was shot in the 2200 block of Fleetwood Avenue. He was taken to the hospital and treated for his injuries.

However, on October 20, 2019, Cooper died at his home. An autopsy was performed and his death was ruled a homicide from complications related to the 1997 shooting.
