Baltimore Police are investigating after one person is killed and four others are wounded in four separate weekend shootings.
The latest occurred on Sunday, when officers were called to a Baltimore County hospital for a 30-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to the body.
It was learned the victim was in the 5300 block of Reisterstown Road when he was shot.
On Saturday, police responded to three other shooting scenes.
The first happened just before 7:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of Ramsey Street. There, officers found two victims. The first, a 58-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his leg, and the second, a 36-year-old woman with gunshot wounds to her body.
Both were transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Just before 10 p.m. officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 800 block of W. Lexington Street.
Once on scene, units found a 26-year-old woman with gunshot wounds to her body. She was taken to an area hospital where she later died.
She was later identified as 26-year-old Nakeya Pearson, of the 400 block of Mount Holly.
Less than an hour later, officers in the Southeast District were called to the 1700 block of Dundalk Avenue. Upon arrival they found a 36-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his body. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
