Walk-in shooting victim rushed into surgery following incident in South Baltimore

BALTIMORE — Baltimore County Police are investigating a shooting that seriously injured a walk-in shooting victim Tuesday afternoon.

Police say officers were called to an area hospital when they found a 35-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to his abdomen.

The man was rushed into surgery and officials report his injuries are unknown at this time.

Investigators believe the man was shot while in the 4200 block of Pennington Avenue.

Due to the severity of the man's injuries, homicide detectives were notified of the incident.
