Baltimore Police have made an arrest of a shooting suspect after they featured him on their "Wanted Wednesday" show.

Wednesday's episode featured 47-year-old Lonnie Nixon of the 2400 block of Winchester Street.  Police say Nixon had an open warrant for first degree attempted murder that occurred in the 1200 block of West North Avenue on January 8.

Late Wednesday afternoon, a patrol officer found Nixon in the 1500 block of West North Avenue at Pennsylvania Avenue and arrested him.

Police also recovered a Derringer .38 caliber handgun from Nixon when they arrested him.

Officers transported Nixon to Central Booking where he was charged with the attempted murder as well as the new handgun violation.

Nixon is still awaiting his bail hearing.
