The shootings started Friday night, just before 11:30, after police were called to the unit block of W. 21st Street for a reported shooting. When they arrived, they found a 47-year-old man who had been shot in the foot. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Things were quiet for a while, and then around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, police found a man who had been shot in the buttocks in the 3300 block of Echodale Avenue.

The next three shootings happened within two and a half hours of each other Sunday morning, and there is not much information released on any of them.

Officers say around 3:10 a.m. they heard a shooting while they were patrolling the 6100 block of Harford Road. Shortly after hearing shots fired, they found a 22-year-old with a gunshot wound to his upper body. Because of the man's injuries, homicide detectives were called to the scene to investigate.
