BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police officers were busy only hours after Valentine's Day ended as gun violence continues in the city.
Around 1:20 a.m., police were called to a local hospital after reports of a walk-in shooting victim. Police spoke with the 28-year-old man who was shot in the chest, and he was immediately taken to surgery and is listed in critical condition.
Police believe the man was show while in the 300 block of Eutaw Street by an unidentified suspect. The man was then taken to the hospital by a person in the area.
Only two hours later, police were called to the 4900 block of Goodnow Road for another reported shooting. There they found a 29-year-old woman with gunshots to her head and chest.
Medics responded to the scene and declared her dead.
