BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police say that a woman was shot Friday afternoon in the Southern District.
At a little before 1 p.m., officers were called to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim. Officers arrived to the hospital and found a 39-year-old woman who was being treated for a gunshot wound to her leg.
Investigators believe that the victim was in the 3000 block of Elizabeth Avenue when she was shot.
