BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating a shooting in Northeast Baltimore on Wednesday.
At 4:17 p.m., officers were called to a local hospital after being notified about a walk-in shooting victim. There, police found a 23-year-old woman who was shot in her thigh.
Investigators learned that woman was playing basketball in the 4700 block of Shamrock Avenue, when a man approached her and shot her.
She was taken to the hospital by a friend.
