At midnight the fifth Baltimore ceasefire began, a movement that asks for the city to stop shooting for 72 hours. 

Less than an hour after the ceasefire began, shots rang through Northwest Baltimore, and a 41-year-old woman was hit in the shoulder.

Police were called to the 5100 block of Reisterstown Road at 12:51 p.m. for reports of a shooting. When they arrived they learned the woman was actually in the 3400 block of Garrison Boulevard when she was shot, and then ran to Reisterstown Road where police were called.

The last two ceasefires have resulted in no murders and organizers are hopeful this will be the third.
