A little over a week after a man is shot in Essex, an arrest has been made.
Baltimore County Police have arrested 18-year-old Troy Peay and charged him with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, and armed robbery.
On November 27, police responded to the area of Back River Neck Road near Torhat Court for a reported shooting. There, officers found a 34-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the upper body.

The man was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive his injuries.
Peay is being held at the Baltimore County Department of Corrections on a denied bail status.
