An adult and two children were seriously hurt when they were hit by a vehicle fleeing a traffic stop in Baltimore County Monday evening.
Police said a white Infiniti fled a traffic a traffic stop in Woodlawn around 5:50 p.m. According to police the officer did not chase the vehicle, but located the crash scene after the initial traffic stop.
According to police, the Infiniti struck the black Nissan, pushing it into a tree. The vehicle was pushed into the tree with such force that the tree broke and fell.
The driver of the Nissan, a 32-year-old man and his two sons, ages 9 and 14 were taken to serious hospitals with serious injuries.
The 26-year-old male driver of the suspect vehicle was arrested and transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. He is pending various traffic and criminal charges.
