Police have released a picture of a suspect in a double shooting that left a Dundalk woman dead and another victim critically injured.

That suspect has been identified as Tavon Powell.

Cell phone video captured the scene outside the home on Wise Avenue Monday night after a report of a shooting brought police and ambulance to the scene in numbers.

"When our officers responded, they did find two victims inside the house suffering from gunshot wounds,” said Cpl. Shawn Vinson of the Baltimore County Police Department, “Both of these victims were transported to a hospital, but unfortunately, the woman was pronounced deceased shortly after arriving at the hospital.  The man---he continues to receive medical treatment."

Police have now identified the woman as 26-year-old Gabrielle Marie Paugh who neighbors say leased the large home with multiple rentals inside and the other gunshot victim has been identified as Aaron Michael Wearins of McElderry Street in Southeast Baltimore.

A man who did not wish to be identified told WMAR 2 News a person in the second floor heard gunshots at 7:30 Monday night and ran downstairs where he found the two victims in a bloody scene, but the gunman had already disappeared.

Investigators say Powell knew his victims, but they have not established a motive for the shooting and at last report, he remains at large.

"At this point, we do not believe there is any existing danger out there right now,” said Vinson, “Obviously, we don't have a suspect in custody so we can't say 100 percent, but we do believe these victims were targeted."
