COCKEYSVILLE, Md. — Spreading peace during a time of so much violence.
The young men of Baltimore County Knight of Pythagoras Mentoring Program held a 'Peace in the Streets' holiday party on Friday.
They thought of the event when the men began voicing their concern about the spike in violence in the area.
"You don't have to solve problems with violence, you have to learn to communicate with one another...we have to learn to be compassionate with and for one another," said Andre Clark from Knight of Pythagoras. "I would hope that would be the biggest takeaway not just tonight but every single day."
Last month, the boys created care packages for the homeless. They will be passing them out tomorrow.
