ESSEX, Md. — Baltimore County Police connect a shooting on Sugarwood Circle to a walk-in victim at MedStar Franklin Square Hospital.
Officers responded to the 1300 block of Sugarwood Circle for shots fired at around 12:40 a.m. From there, they were called to the hospital after the victim, a 23-year-old man with, at least, one gunshot wound to his lower body, arrived to the emergency room at a little after 12:50 a.m.
Detectives from the Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit connected the two calls and are still investigating to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting, so anyone with information about this shooting is asked to contact police at (410) 307-2020. Callers who wish may remain anonymous.
