Baltimore County Police are investigating an incident that took place Saturday afternoon.
Police were called for a shooting in the Essex area at around 3 p.m. When they arrived, investigators found out that a man had been involved in an encounter with another individual around Stemmers Run Road and North Marlyn Avenue. Sometime after that encounter, the victim suffered a gunshot wound to his lower extremity.
He was transported to a local hospital and is currently in good condition. However, at the moment, police believe that the victim was targeted.
