Baltimore County Police are looking for a suspect who robbed a China Wok restaurant in Owings Mills Tuesday afternoon that caused local schools to be on alert.
According to police, the suspect went inside the China Wok demanding money from the register while showing a portion of his firearm concealed under the black coat he was wearing. They say the man later ran towards the New Town Boulevard when the clerk called 911.
New Town Elementary and High Schools were immediately put on alert while police searched for the robbery suspect.
Police believe the same suspect is linked to a robbery of the Beauty 2U store two days earlier after surveillance video showed the suspect doing the same thing he did at the restaurant shooting and fleeing towards New Town Boulevard.
