Calvert Hall College in Baltimore County fired a school counselor who is accused of sexual misconduct.
Brother David Trishtinger is accused of sexually abusing a student at a Pittsburgh area school in the 1980s. Trishtinger worked as a school counselor at Calvert Hall from 2000 to 2007 and again, from 2016 until this past Friday when the school learned of the allegations.
The president of Calvert Hall, Brother John Kane, sent a letter to students and parents about the allegations.
There are no reports of abuse happening at Calvert Hall but the school is encouraging anyone with information to come forward.
