A 19-year-old man was killed in a shooting Thursday afternoon in Dundalk, Baltimore County Police said.
Antwaun Cordell Malloy, of the the 1900 block of Church Road in Dundalk, was pronounced dead at 7:15 p.m. at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
Police say Malloy was in the 7800 bock of Eastern Avenue, sitting with two friends on the wall that separates the Everest Pizza Restaurant from a next door driveway. The group saw a suspect with a handgun approach from behind and attempted to flee. Malloy was struck in the back at least once and collapsed nearby.
Police believe Malloy was an intentional target of the shooting and are asking anyone with information about the shooting or the suspect to contact the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit at 410-307-2020.
