Former Baltimore County superintendent Dallas Dance started the first day of his sentence at Henrico County Jail in Virginia.
Henrico County officials say Dance turned himself in at the Henrico County Sheriff's office at 5:26 p.m. and is currently in the Henrico County Jail as of Friday evening.

This comes after Dance pleaded guilty to four counts of perjury after lying on disclosure forms about $147,000 in fees he received moonlighting on the side as a consultant.
Dance was sentenced to 6 months in prison.
