Former Ner Israel student charged for trying to run over staff member

PIKESVILLE, Md. — Baltimore County Police have charged the man in connection with the Wednesday incident, in which, he was driving erratically and attempting to run people over.

Baltimore County Police received a 911 call at around 7 a.m. for a person driving erratically in the 400 block of Mt. Wilson Lane, around the campus of Ner Israel Rabbinical College. After a brief pursuit, officers were able to arrest 33-year-old Manooel Yerooshalmy, of the 3600 block of Clarks Lane.

However, an officer was injured during the arrest.

Yerooshalmy was charged with three counts of attempted first degree murder, three counts of attempted second degree murder and various other charges. He is currently being held without bail.
