A 25-year-old Glen Burnie man will spend 10 days in prison and pay a $1,000 fine after being found guilty on several charges related to illegal street racing in Baltimore County.

Matthew Lee Broseker was found guilty in Baltimore County District Court of participating in a speed contest, spinning wheels, driving an uninsured motor vehicle, and failing to display a registration card.

Broseker was charged as a result of a joint initiative between Baltimore County Police and the Maryland State Police focusing on aggressive driving and illegal street racing in the county.

The initiative netted more than 60 traffic stops and three arrests of impaired drivers.
