Be leery of who you are "eyeballing" these days, it may land you in a messed up situation.
According to Baltimore County Police, a couple left a store located in the 500 block of Cranbrook Road Thursday evening, when a group of men in a car took offense to the guy "eyeballing them."
The group of men then left the store parking lot and staked out across the street to wait for the couple to pass. When the men took notice of the couple nearby, the driver showed a gun and started shooting at them.
Luckily, the couple was able to flee and hide behind a tree while the shots were being fired in their direction.
The men in the car later fled the scene.
Police say the couple was not injured.
