Maryland law enforcement officials charged Jamal Norton with attempted first-degree murder and nine related charges.
MDTA police were called to the scene of the shooting and road rage incident in August. At the scene, they gave aid to a victim suffering from gunshot wounds.
The man was later released from an area hospital that evening.
Following the I-895 shooting, Maryland State Police were called about a man pointing a gun at him while driving on I-95. State Police and MDTA police teamed up to investigate the shootings, as both incidents circled back to Norton.
The joint investigation revealed that both incidents occurred consecutively and involved the same vehicle.
He is currently being held on a no-bail status. A court date has not yet been set in either case
