A man has been charged in connection with a deadly stabbing in Dundalk back in September.

Baltimore County Police said 35-year-old Wayne Edward Zeigler, Jr., of no fixed address, was charged with first-degree murder and is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

On Sept. 1 just after 7:30 p.m., police were called to the 7800 block of Eastern Avenue for a stabbing. Officers arrived to find 18-year-old Gerrod Dominick Greenwood, of the 400 block of 52nd Street, and a second man near a bus stop. Both were found suffering from stab wounds to the upper body.

The victims were taken to area hospitals for treatment. Greenwood died at the hospital.

An investigation indicated that “two groups had become involved in a fight near the bus stop,” according to police. Zeigler is accused of stabbing Greenwood during the fight.

The incident is still under investigation.
