DUNDALK, Md. — Baltimore County Police have identified the victim that was shot and killed in Dundalk late Friday evening.

According to officials, neighbors called 911 around 8:30 p.m. after they heard gunshots. Officers and EMS personnel arrived and found the victim, 51-year-old Jose Noel Savaria of the 1800 block of Portship Road, lying on the sidewalk with at least one gunshot wound to his upper body. Savaria was pronounced dead at the scene.
Homicide detectives are still trying to identify a suspect and a motive for this murder, but anyone with information is asked to contact police at (410) 307-2020.
