ESSEX, Md. — Man shot was by an unknown suspect in Essex on Tuesday.
At a little before 12 p.m., Baltimore County Police arrived to a convenience store in the 800 block of South Marlyn Avenue for a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the mid-body. An investigation determined that the victim, a 26-year-old man, was shot in the area of S. Marlyn Avenue and Sandalwood Road. The circumstances that led up to the shooting, however, remain under investigation.
Even though the victim was transported to a local hospital, he is expected to survive his injuries.
